Terms

Last updated 10 October 2026.

Site Intelligence These terms cover your initial brief and any study we prepare for you.

What the study is

A research comparison of agreed locations, using permitted public data and the information you give us. You can nominate two to five Victorian towns or suburbs. We confirm local evidence availability, boundaries, scope and timing before agreeing a study. The current automated report and sample cover the northern Melbourne dataset; wider Victorian studies require their local evidence to be commissioned and verified first. If you supply customer postcode counts, it shows where your current customers come from, the businesses already nearby, and who lives in each area, with the checks we suggest before you commit to premises.

It is not financial, legal, planning or property advice, and it is not a forecast of customers, revenue or success. Business directories miss some businesses and include some that have closed; Census figures date from 2021; the main catchment uses modelled driving time at typical speeds, with straight-line circles for comparison. These are not live-traffic journey times. Check anything important before you rely on it, especially before signing a lease.

Price

Location research is a paid service, quoted to scope. Submitting a brief does not commit you to a purchase. We agree the deliverables, total fee, applicable GST and payment terms in writing before work begins. No payment is due until you accept the quote.

Your part

Using the report

The report is for your own business decisions. Some public data we use asks that its sources stay credited, so please keep the source notes if you share the report. The supporting source files are available from your download page.

Responsibility

We prepare each study carefully, but because it relies on public data and your answers, we can't guarantee it is complete or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for decisions you make based on it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
