Terms

These terms are between you and Site Intelligence (ABN 79 697 552 346), Victoria ("we", "us"). They cover your brief, any quote we send you, and any study we prepare for you. Your written quote sets out the specific scope, fee and timing for your study. If the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies.

What the study is

A research comparison of agreed locations, using permitted public data and the information you give us. You can nominate two to five Victorian towns or suburbs. Before quoting, we confirm what local evidence is available, the boundaries, the scope and the timing. Our current sample covers northern Melbourne; for other areas we check and source local data first, and we'll tell you before you pay if we can't do a proper job. If you supply customer counts by postcode, the study also shows where your current customers come from. Every report is checked by our professional reviewer, Tom Moore, before it's released to you.

It is not financial, legal, planning or property advice, and it is not a forecast of customers, revenue or success. Business directories miss some businesses and include some that have closed. Census figures date from 2021. The main comparison uses modelled driving times at typical speeds, with straight-line circles for comparison; these are not live-traffic journey times. Check anything important before you rely on it, especially before signing a lease.

Price and GST

Location research is a paid service, quoted to your scope. For our first few clinics we charge a fixed founding fee of A$995; after that, studies are from A$1,495. Prices include GST. We will issue a tax invoice.

Submitting a brief is free and doesn't commit you to anything. Nothing is payable until you accept a written quote.

Payment

When you accept the written quote, we'll email you an invoice. Please pay by bank transfer within 7 days of the invoice date; the bank details are on the invoice. We start work when your payment arrives, and we usually deliver your report within about 5 working days of your payment clearing. We don't take card payments at present.

Refund guarantee

Our guarantee: if the study does not give you a shortlist of areas you would act on, email tom@siteintelligence.com.au within 14 days of delivery and we will refund the full fee.

We refund to the account you paid from. You do not have to give detailed reasons. This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Premises checks

The area study doesn't include a search for available premises. Checks on a specific property can be quoted separately.

Your part

• Give us accurate information, and only information you're allowed to share.
• Only give us customer counts by postcode. Never send patient or member names, dates of birth or health details.
• Keep your private links private: anyone with a link can use it until it expires.

Using the report

The report is for your own business decisions. Some of the public data we use requires its source to be credited, so please keep the source notes if you share the report. The supporting source and licence files are available from your download page.

Responsibility

We prepare each study carefully, but because it relies on public data and your answers, we can't guarantee it is complete or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for decisions you make based on it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
